Launch Day

We have everything lined up, and the need is finally there — I think it’s time to make this website LIVE.

If you’re just now reading this, hi — I’m Drew, the singer/songwriter of a band called BRiNK. I assume you kind of know what BRiNK is if you’ve found yourself on this website… but you might not know what this is. Well, this is a blog — or something like that.

I’ve been posting almost every day to try and give a deeper look into the journey BRiNK is becoming. I’ve had a lot of crazy experiences since starting this project, but never really had an outlet to talk about all the little things along the way. So here we are: an archived look at what life looks like day-to-day for a 30-year-old man just trying to chase a dream.

Since this is the first official live post (you can always scroll back and check out the posts I made before the site went live!), I think we need a little catch-up — a little update on what’s been going on.

Well… the Super Bowl happened, and I got to celebrate with close friends and my dog. But most importantly — MUSIC.

These past three days, Nick and I have been hard at work on the new BRiNK EP. That’s right — an EP! This is the largest amount of music we’ve worked on at one time, and the process is really coming along. Lately, we’ve been finishing all the vocals, which is definitely an involved time for me, as you can imagine. We’ve made amazing progress and are now on our final two songs, which we’re hoping to wrap up in the next 3–4 days.

So today is a big day. Not only are we launching this website — which I hope at least someone out there is excited about — but we’ll also be back in the studio from noon to eight, working away to get you as much music as possible this year.

I’m so excited for what the future holds, and I’m really happy to have this little journal to track all the progress. Hopefully, it excites you too — and gives you confidence in the journey you’re taking as well.

— BRiNK, signing out
